Good heavens and I thought we were all about football, my nearest and nearest just gave me the Caitlan Moran book to read 'How to be a Woman' I think she reckons I am a bit of an MCP. I reckon if the anonymous key board warriors can control themselves, then whoever posts of whatever gender or sexual orientation, if they love Sunderland should be welcome. There has been some cracking female posters over the years..There was one that I recall from the BBC606 days who stationed herself at Ponteland airport when we were waiting for news of some big transfer news, and was checking each plane that come in...If I recall correctly it turned into a mega thread with some cracking humour in it..
I remember it well. I did not post in those days but that thread was the highlight of the summer transfer window. It was when we were in the Darren Bent frenzy and someone had posted that he had seen Darren's name on a flight manifest so we were all agog!!! I think her username was Anton for Captain back then, and she knew her stuff too.
Just come onto site and I must say this thread is a very well behaved, genteel and intelligent, with just a hint of awe from some very nice boys. The degree in phsychology has got us frightened.
