For those also on another site, sorry if you have already read this! As I am fed up of reading the doom and gloom about our lack of signings I thought we could use a new topic to discuss. Some of you may have guessed already but it's time to admit that I am another of the few FEMALE members of Not606. I decided to join NOT606 without disclosing I was a woman as a sort of experiment - to see if I could avoid the things I didn't like (overly laddish humour, porn, swearing, patronising and flirting with women posters etc.) while still getting my fix of Sunderland banter and discussion. I deliberately adopted a male username (the Michael Connelly detective, not the 15th century artist by the way!) so as not to give away my secret, but always kept my posts gender neutral and never told any lies about myself or my experiences. My aim was to be treated as just another poster and gain the respect of fellow members for my knowledge of football and Sunderland. I hope I have done that. As a year has gone by now I decided a clean slate was in order. Apologies if anyone is offended by my deception. So did any of you guess? Will I be treated differently now? Most importantly how do those of you who participated in the 2011/12 Sunderland NOT606 Fantasy League feel, now you know you were beaten by a GIRL?!
A girl I am outraged and feel used!!!! Didn't I once read that Sunderland has an unusually high number of female supporters compared to other clubs? As for being treated differently, don't be daft..... Now what are you wearing

Makes no difference to me bonny lass. My younger sister has supported SAFC nearly as long as myself and trust me, her knowledge and memory on all things Sunderland puts mine to shame. (She has also been a Season Ticket holder longer than me. ) I have always found your posts interesting. I apologise in advance and in the past for my language on here. (In real life I never swear in front of the fairer sex. but I just can't help it when talking football with the "lads". ) And yup I had you down as the painter. Had one of his pictures as my desktop for awhile.
Just a thought..How do we know whether your experiment is just beginning, and that you are really a bloke who is now going to pretend to be a woman?

Pleased to know that I was getting worried i had gay tendancies for you but now that your a girl i can stop worrying. Now your out the closet i hope you feel relieved. As for female supporters i think we do have more than most and to be honest its better than sitting next to a fat pie eating swearing moron lol. My wife has had a season ticket for years so thats one female next to me lol. Also my mates daughter showed more interest than either my son or his P.S sorry about my Signature pic but she is rather pretty
Think it's great to have plenty of female supporters and great for the club. Your opinions are as valued as much as anyone's Plus you get the chance to have a little flirt in between all the football flummary..
Now that you have revealed yourself has female, were you cross dressing by any chance? Not that I'm bothered by it, each to their own. Just have a 'Mr's Doubtfire' at the keyboard view of it.
