    Leeds United, Burnley and Millwall all want to sign Sheffield United captain Nick Montgomery. The 30-year-old is expected to be sold for £500,000. This according to the Daily Star - Personally as we can't bring in anyone else, as the asking fee is £500k and as we are packed with central midfielders of the same type I have to believe this is bollocks.

    Easy link as weve been after him in the past. But now we have plenty of CMs. No way would we spend any remaining scraps of funds on him

    Total rubbish not good enough and in any case he turned us down last time ans signed a new cotract.Danny doesn,t rate him and let him out on loan last season

    He is past his best and not worth a fee...

    But it might be true as I would trust the Daily Star to report the facts, if it was the Daily Mirror then we could cast the rumour aside.
