I'm afraid you can’t have it both ways though. Genuine good banter is fine and encourages interesting mind provoking thoughts. No-one enjoys that more than me and I have lots of mags as mates and work colleagues and thoroughly enjoy the craic. However, there are quite a few mags on here that just want to come on and be a set of ****s and thus receive the abuse and bile from me they fully deserve. It’s no good being a total **** one minute then just saying "Haway lads it’s just banter". There is a marked difference. There are some excellent b&w posters on this board like QWOP for example, who is sensible, non confrontational and very intelligent and I will never abuse him. I actually like to hear his views and encourage him to join in. I come on here during lunch hours at work or on weekends and at night when the telly is crap or the bairn is in bed, for a bit crack with some genuine Sunderland fans and swap fears and hopes alike but 9/10 posts now just end up getting into a verbal scrap with the same 3 or 4 total **** stains from the mags board and there are more and more Sunderland fans actually leaving and going elsewhere, like Syd, which is a real shame because the crack on here (especially when it was BBC 606) used to be really good and quite high brow compared to some more hostile boards. I have had my run ins with several SAFC fans but in the end its our shared passion for SAFC that makes us a bit dumb at times and I hold my hand up to be that sometimes but its not long lasting and I hold no grudges. I dont hold any with dumb barcodes either but too many like Chiek and he isn’t alone btw, have made their beds on here with more than just WUM posts but more with uncalled abusive nose poking on OUR SITE and they now have no way back in my eyes. Whatever they post will simply receive the complete abuse they deserve. You cant have your cake in this life and eat it.
