Well we all like a prediction or two so now its time to put up or shut up. Predict the Top 6 and Bottom 6 in the Championship and the Top 6 and Bottom 6 in the Premier League. As an added extra also predict who will win both the Cups(League and F.A.) Points awarded as follows : - 1 point if your teams finish in the zone and 3 points if your teams final league position is correct. (ie. If you had Reading to finish 20th in the PL and they did you would get 3 points.) In the cups you get 2 points if your team reaches the Final and 3 points if your team wins it. You can make your selections from now and make as many changes as you want to,, upto and incl. the 14th September(as the transfer window shuts on the 31st August and then an International break from the 3rd September for 2 weeks) The rules are simple. 1)No further changes are allowed from Saturday 15th September 2012 after midnight. 2)Anyone who does gets a yellow card = 5 penalty points and 2 yellows = A red card. Red=10pen pts Thats it. I shall update the Official League positions at the end of each calender month so that you can see how you are doing. May the best predictor win.!!!!! NB. Last season Reading after the opening 6 games were 2nd from bottom on 4 pts with a playing record of W1 D1 L4 GD-3 and we all know what happened after that.!!
So here goes mine then (updated on monday 3rd sept 2012). It's always impossible to predict these - all the PL teams look good to me. People always pick promoted teams to get relegated again but it really doesn't happen that often.
Thats why there is a window to change some teams. Much transfer business may mean changes need making.

Can I just suggest a 3rd rule, no changes what so ever from a week after the January window changes. Otherwise I can see us all scoring 73 points by changing everything to the correct teams 5 minutes before the end of the PL's final games.
Fine by me but does not rule No.1 cover that. ? In other words No more changes at all after midnight on saturday 15th sept. Can you sticky this please ?

There's some weird predictions on here. Middlesbrough to win the League Cup? Villa and West Ham to get relegated? Watford to finish as runners-up? Swansea and Newcastle to be the Cup winners?
