Are we going to see our 'best' side lining up against Norwich?

Or will SB still mix-and-match in an attempt to find who plays best with who? (Which seems to have been the scenario until now).

I would much rather him go full strength and see what our side is fully capable of. Within reason that is, unless a player such as Chester has an injury that could be aggravated then obviously don't play him. Just try and put as close to our full strength side out as possible. <laugh>

I cant help feeling we'll lose on Saturday. It just has all the hallmarks of being a glorified friendly and the players and indeed crowd not being up for it whilst it's a big occasion for Rovverham.

Nope. imo we shall only see the players who are 100% fit from the start. No need for the likes of James Chester to play. I would give time to the likes of Dawson - Mckenna - Fryatt - Faye - who are playing catch up and maybe give some time at the end to Rosie, Evans and Olifinjana if they are ready.

Time to play Fryatt and Proschwitz as a pair with Stewart and Aluko on the wings but get to swap wings at regular intervals. McKenna and Koren or Cairney in the middle. Back 4 of Dawson - Cooper - Faye - Bruce with both Amos and Jakupovic taking a half each. imo.

I dont think this will be an issue this time around. Lets have good cup runs on top of the championship.

Is he ? Nothing from the keyboard of Buckingham saying so. Hope not as Cooper has been as good as any and for me deservers his chance in the team. If Cooper is injured that almost completes the set of injured defenders.

I know what you mean. It has that danger like the Crawley game did. If we were away from home I'd expect us to lose but I'm not sure since we're at home. The players should be up for it though - it's their best chance to get into the first team for Brighton.

I hope we do hammer them though, the Crawley game last year was one of the most enfuriating I've ever seen. The way they kept 'winning' free kicks in the dying minutes; Steve Evans' teams are horrible.

IMO he has to go full strength tonight; if we play a team with East, Townsend, ***an, McShame and whoever in it we'll get ripped to shreds.
My preferred team for tonight would be
    Amos
    Dudgeon Faye Bruce* Dawson
    Aluko McKenna Koren Stewart
    Proschwitz Fryatt

Bench: Jakupovic, Cooper*, Townsend, McLean, Evans, Devitt, Oli, Simpson,

    * Cooper plays instead of bruce if fit.

the rotherham game is a massive unknown for me. are city really bothered about progression? are rotherham that bothered?will each treat it as just a small step up from a classic pre-season friendly with the more important 'big kick-off' looming? do either of us realistically have much to gain in the medium term by winning?

Somewhere, Mussie, I read that Rovveram are up for it - a chance to turn the Tigers over and get a scalp!
