I hope we snap him up quickly

the bloke fits the bill for the experienced striker MoN wants to bring into his squad and at the minute I would jump for joy if someone told me we had him upfront rather than Wickham, Campbell or Ji at Arsenal.

Personally think he would be a good addition as the 3rd striker this summer, give him a 12month contract were if he plays 25games he gets another year at the club. He got 4 in 11 for Spurs last season which is decent enough IMO.

Please lets get Fletcher, Guidetti and Saha as 3rd choice would certainly please me.

This Saha link may not be a rumour. A mate of who works near The AOL, banged on about him for two dayss, saying Saha had been seen checking out facilities at the AOL on the 18th July. Yeah, yeah, yeah I said. But he got quite offended in the end, insisting his source was from a worker at the AOL. Anywa, ....pinch of salt still followed from myself.

....Now, lets say he was not telling porkies, the only reasons I can think of as to why no committment, from either party has materialised, can only be his wage demands or him weighimg up other options. That said, I haven't heard him being linked with any other team, unless he is still on his jolly's.

I would love to have the lad here by the way, but something is telling me - pie in the sky !

I thought Saha was and is basically a "crock", so what is the point of signing him, we went through all this with Mensah and it seems with the ageing Brown and O'Shea also, yet another, sick note would not I fear be helpful. A good player in his day but now past it.

I would be happy with Saha as a 3rd forward this season would be even better on a pay as you play deal.

I think we need 6 players in pending no others leaving.

    Olsson
    Fletcher
    Saha
    Matty Phillips
    Johnson
    Guidetti (Loan)

    Would do for me

If Ricco & Elmo go i think MoN will bring in a CM (N`Zonzi)

I just hope we get a few in this week if we start the season with the squad we have now we are ****ed.

When Mon brought an 'old crock' called Tony Cottee to Leicester City, when no one wanted him, everyone said he was mad and had lost the plot.

Cottee went on to score a pot full of goals and led them to 2 league cup final wins in his time there.

No one ever called Marty daft after that.

Cest, come on fella....... He's been at 3 clubs since Fulham and hasn't played more than 15 games in a season. The player should be sent to the butchers.... Saha has well and truly past it.

If he plays fifteen times and scores six or seven goals I'd be happy with that for a third striker.

sounds like some of us are getting a bit desperate and lowering
there expectations as far as a striker goes .must admit to getting
a bit worried about the lack of transfer activity myself but trying
to ktf could the worry stem from getting overlly excited about
signing x amount of average players the last few windows maybe
    quality takes longer to get

Saha wouldnt be a complete disaster but he also wouldnt be that inspirational either.

If he could stay fit he would score goals as his record of goals per games played is fantastic. Unfortunately, he has a poor fitness record and we don't need that to be our main striker next year.

Bit nonplussed with this to be fair.
