How many premier League Teams have signed players there doesn't seem to have been much movement by anyone so far not just us. DON'T PANIC AND KEEP THE FAITH IN MON WE TRUST
http://www.soccernews.com/soccer-transfers/english-premier-league-transfers/ Hope this helps mate a lot more transfers than I thought to be honest and, not just from the big boys either.
I have a feeling it will be lastminute once again as clubs seek to drive hard bargains. You just need one or two big deals to trigger things.
the difference being that we've lost our main striker and have looked **** in pre season so far, but you're correct to say don't panic, we're in good hands
I'm not panicking, but! And it's a big BUT! I am slightly worried our wage cap may have MON with one arm tied behind his back.
Hey guys. Lets just stand still. Sure we'll be ok. Hey! Why not make the first move? Nar. Sit tight. x
Same here mate. Even though we aint lost a game in pre-season, we've looked shakey, and only signed a couple of younguns. Looks like it's going to be a typical last minute thing. Oh well.
Mate what source of information has informed you we're sitting still and sitting tight? We have no idea what Short, Byrne and O'Neill are doing. They might have put 15 bids in last week for all we know. Calm and faith is required.
Reading - Pogrebnyak Saints - Rodriquez West Ham - Maiga The three promoted teams have all managed to buy a striker that would currently get in our first team. Positive hat on says if Mon wanted any of those three theyd be here now.
The domino's will start to fall when Van Persie chooses his destination and that club matches the fee Arsenal require. I'd expect City are waiting to see if he joins them, then they will release players and buy players according to how then plan on feeding RVP, same with United or whoever else ends up in the hunt. Most teams probably have their eye on a City youngster or even one of the older lads. QPR are obviously not waiting around for anybody, and have improved the most out of all PL teams so far, but as far as the established lot making moves, nothing really has happened but I'd expect Liverpool to wade in with a £20m flop any day now.
Apart from Diame, Rodellega and maybe 1 other, excluding those players signing for the big 4 who we couldn't have got anyway, I'm not in the slightest bit bothered about that list at all. Even Hoilett doesn't bother me as he has only had 1 okay season and isn't worth the 40 grand a week he reportedly demanded and got. There is a lot of average to poor players on there that I wouldn't want at all. Mon has his targets and they are not on that list.
Q P R mean business this season, Soton spend £8 m on a championship player!. W H U doing well, and next week we face £28 m of arsenals new 2 strikers. Could we get Arshavin and Moses ? as i am worried about this coming season we will struggle big time with the present team.
QPR have spent a lot of money on players that may or may not come off for them as they had to gamble as they were ****e last year. Same with Southampton and WHU as newly promoted clubs lacking in EPL experience and quality but in all honesty, I wouldnt have any of the players they have signed except for Djibril Cisse. WHU have signed McCartney ffs. We are now an established mid table team with a new but highly experienced EPL manager who unlike his predeccessor and most of the other established mid table teams, isnt panic buying anything with a pulse to try and ensure we stay up. We have selectively chosen the 3 or 4 main targets (excluding Cuellar) highlighted by Martin, that will improve us again and have made bids to their parent clubs to that end. We now will all just have wait and see the outcome of those bids and nothing has changed or been scrapped since MoN sat down and handed Ellis and Byrne his list at the end of the last season. Its what a confident and experienced manager does at this level. We havent imho missed out on any targets thus far this summer.
