When I first registered online they accepted my application and my Visa Card, in the first ballot I got the tickets I wanted only to be informed about 10 minutes later that my card was not accepted. I never got a reason why and the bank said there was nothing untoward with the card or funding on it. I didn't get my tickets!! I had to register another card for the second ballot and was still unsucessful. I decided after that, that it wasn't to be so got tickets for the Paralympics instead. Then a email arrived saying as I tried twice before I was given priority to try again, and **** me sideways, yahoo and praise the lord, 2 tickets for Saturday Morning, and 2 tickets for Sunday. As I said before I'm so excited it's unbelievable. If I don't get a heart attack it will be a miracle!!!!!

What are people's thoughts on the badminton players deliberately trying to lose? I personally find it stupid and disgusting! One of the players has tried to defend themselves by saying they were unsure about the rule changes. I don't know much about badminton but I'm fairly sure the aim is always to try and win, not to lose...

Wonky, My point of view is, serve them right, it was not in the spirit of the Olympics. You are supposed to pit yourself against the best in the world, it's the whole point of the Olympics, NOT try to find ways round doing that by deliberatly losing.... which is wrong in any walk of life.

Off to Cheer on TEAM GB now!!!!!!!!! and to look at Jess Ennis's bum! :emoticon-0115-inlov

    The GB penalty shoot out:

Mark Lawrenson - so far, after 8 penalties the keepers haven't gotten near a single one

The Korean keeper then saves Sturridge's penalty. When will he learn to keep his gob shut?

I always thought England (alias Team GB) were terrible at penalties. I might be right. But what I now realise is that we (GB, England, et al) are no good at is finishing games in the 90... or even 120; putting the game to bed.

Our decent team beaten by a very well set up S.Korea side. We gave the world football, but all we take back are our arses handed to us on a plate.

The footballers make me puke. The real athletes like Ennis and Farah know how to perform when the heat is on. ****ers like Ramsey and co can't even side foot a fcukin ball into the net.
And I expect they will want a pay rise when they get back to their clubs. If they fcukin dare go to the closing ceremony I will scream.

What a night for British sport. Really makes you proud. We are capable of so much when we come together and focus, it's a shame it doesn't happen more often.

As for the footballers, big ****ing shock. Sturridge missing the penalty with a stupid stutter, he'll be in the England squad next season. Thats nailed on.

Watching this success in sport has slightly depressed me when I look towards how our "National Game" is being run.

I look at how well British cycling and rowing have done with the management of their sport and I just look at the FA and I can barely muster more adjectives than "****ing Useless"

Thank **** i've got Team GB and Norwich City FC to make me proud.

Yeah, what a fantastic night for Team GB, trust the bloody footballers to **** up a quarter final penalty shoot out <doh>
What on earth was Sturridge trying to do FFS, if anyone wants to know how to take pen I'll tell them. JUST HIT THE ****ING BALL AS HARD AS YOU CAN STRAIGHT DOWN THE MIDDLE, SIMPLES !!!!!!!!!!!!!

Bit of a slap in the face for the MP who said the opening ceremony was 'leftie multicultural crap.' <doh>

It was brilliant to watch last night, and I may have broken my bed by jumping up with a loud cheer when Mo Farah crossed the line last night.

Aiden Burley must feel like an absolute idiot. I come from a very multicultural area have friends from various nationalities who along with their parents have worked their arse's off and have contributed loads towards this country that includes my grandfather too, when there are other 'British' people I know of who have three generations who's occupation is to get pissed, sit on their backsides watching sky all day, making other peoples lives unbearable, whilst their daughters start having kids at the expense of the state from the age of 15. Yes there is some dodgy immigrants but there are three times as many home grown pieces of **** around.

I was being well pessimistic before the match which isn't like me but I always see Murray getting beaten by Federer but I got it seriously wrong. Excellent performance gutted him and Robson didn't win the mixed doubles.

Still a productive day from GB was gutted for Percy & Simpson and Clancy finding Scandinavian countries are starting to get very annoying in Sports recently. Really hoping we can win a team sport other then Track & Rowing, Hockey was looking good but we've slipped up a little but we're still in it.
