On Fryatt it really does look like the adidas generic sunshine yellow version. It's really not amber. http://www.thisishullandeastriding....ys-Hull-City/story-16647735-detail/story.html
Yeah it is a bit bright but unfortunately I think our traditional Amber has been lost. I guess we have to settle on the basic choice colours the main manufactures are willing to supply. Sad because we are Black & Amber but it has been forgotten. The thread about Nike covers some of this.
But werent we assured that the City shirt was a different colour to the Sunshine Yellow one Adidas offered for just over a tenner? And merge away Oh Mods....
Was it the stripes that were sonic gold, or the bit that goes around the FL badge? (because for some reason they met quality control despite the two parts being different colours)
I've come to the conclusion it's definitely more amber than yellow. I'd quite like to see our 'traditional amber' people keeping harping on about though. Do we use it as often as our 'traditional stripes'?
Football is a winter sport as well. We should wait until the winter before judging the colour, once they're soaked through because it's pissing it down all the time they might look more amber than they do now.
