Surely he'd want to go for an established Championship club with a big name manager and a bit of money, than one who were recently promoted? It's like the Fraizer Campbell situation when he chose Tottenham and then Sunderland over us: successful loan spell yes, but his future mattered more. From the sound of it I'd rather have this guy if the Wendies are raving about him than Elmohamady who nobody wants apart from us...
If he's that good a prospect why would Reading sell him? And his wiki page is 'jenk'. Someone needs to clean that up.
Too late. He signed for the Wendies today. Go for Jem Karachan who is better anyway and wants out of Reading. imo.
you mean Cem Karacan (in Turkish the "c" is pronounced as our "j" so it's "Jem Karajan" BTW) and yes, he's class so I'd support that..
I'm afraid Steve Bruce is thick. At Sunderland he constantly selected Elmohamady (a man with no ability whatsoever) and once played a 4-6-0 formation because he was worried about the attacking prowess of Brighton and Hove Albion. However, on the plus side he is the best salesman to have ever lived and is able to convince chairmen to employ him in a job that he is totally incompetent in. Furthermore, he will also get the funding to buy players then pay massively over the odds for complete rubbish. Good luck with him you are going to need it. Expect a relegation battle.
I think we'll do well with Bruce - my concern is we are linked with Elmohamady - and you're at least the 6th Sunderland fan to say he's gash. I work with 4 and know a ST holder, no one has anything positive to say about him. Is he really that bad?
