Really? He's a good striker on form and in a good set up. Good pace, great finisher.

That's a 1 in 2 strike rate better than Fletchers mate so why not?
To be fair his attitude stinks and he was crap last season also tried to get away when one of the bigger teams were interested so no from me, although 4.5mil isn't a big gamble I'm guessing he'll be looking for big wages.

Well, I think Odem is a more techincal striker, but you guys seriously need some muscle to your side.

Fletcher would be better for your set up, despite being the lesser striker, but with Fletcher in your side, you'd be a more efficient force IMO.

I like both. If Odemwingie was 24 he'd be worth about 15.

A very good player and a top rate finisher, really went of the boil last season. Worth a punt? I would take him as well as Fletcher. We need at least two strikers who can cut it in the Prem.

We may need two strikers but i for one hope that Odemwinge is not one of them. Having seen him on a number of occassions my honest opinion is that he is not a good team player. Having said that i like a striker who is confident in his abilities but there are times when this guy just doesn't look for a team mate in a better position and just blindly carries on. For me a definate no no.

Him and Fletcher would make a good partnership. They'd be a threat. The only issue is his age as you have to accept you pay a premium for his excellent form but have no prospect of a return. Depends if you think he will definitely deliver the goods.

For the price I think he'd be worth a punt, apart from last season where he struggled he was decent.

A top class striker should be selfish, if not he will not score many goals

Everyone saying he was crap last year he still managed 10 league goals. Id love him here the only down side is he's 31. the price might be a tad steep for that reason alone. Like said above if he was 25 he'd be worth 15m+

Agreed on the 25 thing. Shame he's not, really. Although when he was 25, he scored 5 goals in 29 games for Lille. If we were looking at anyone like that at the moment, all hell would break loose on here.

He might have scored 10 goals, but didn't Seb score 8? And half the posters on here are ready to kick him out of the starting 11...
