So I want you to tell me what you would like the team to be and also what you think Pardew will play!

This is what I want to see

    --------------Harper---------------

    Simpson---Willo---Colo------Enrique

    Barton---Guthrie---Tiote------Jonas

    ------------- Ireland---------------

    --------------Ameobi--------------

The team I think we will play is the exact same but with Lovenkrands instead of Ireland. Also it would be nice to see Gosling on the bench, but only if he is 100%, there is no point in risking him at all!

My prediction is a 1-1 draw. The ogre will open the scoring for Man Utd and then Ranger will come on and score a last minute equaliser courtesy of a delightful pin-point through ball from Ireland!

    Your team and predictions?

Agree with the team 100% but my prediction would be 4-1 Man Utd.

Think he'll play Lovenkrands with Ireland on the bench. Other than that the team picks itself for now.

Maybe R. Taylor on the right and Barton in the middle? It wasn't until R. Taylor came on v Villa that we contributed anything down right, he got some decent crosses in.

Can't see Vidic/Ferdinand being overly concerned with Ameobi, but I think the team mentioned will be the one that goes out to a 2-1 defeat. Heart says 3-0 to us!

Although not everyone agrees, I think it would be harsh dropping Guthrie, he has really impressed me in the last two games. He hasn't done anything special, but has been solid!

I've got nothing against Guthrie, he done well v Wolves and played a bit better than most of the others v Villa. Like you say, unspectacular but not bad. Maybe R. Taylor would get more crosses in for Shola if he plays. Barton and Tiote can then try and control the midfield.

    I would play:

    ------------Harper----------
    Simmo---Collo---Willo---Jose
    ------------Tiote-----------
    Barton-----Ireland-----Jonas
    --------Shola--Kuqi--------

Keep hitting the big boys up front and cause problems for them that way.

I can understand the logic for Guthrie, but I don't think he could control the midfield well enough.

If Pardew decides not to risk Ireland by starting him, then Barton CM and Raylor on the right.

Ireland is confirmed starting from the bench, if he is in a state to play after what happened to his wife. None of our strikers will cause much bother to Man U's defence, so I would only play one.

4-5-1 Harper; Simpson, Williamson, Colo, Enrique; Raylor, Barton, Tiote, Guthrie, Jonas; Shola

All that support and Shola can score, even against Man U, you've got Raylor, Barton, Guthrie and Jonas all supplying different kinds of cross/pass. Bring Ranger on at about 60 mins for a midfielder or maybe Shola if he's doing nowt as I think him coming on as a sub is the most potent threat we have up front at the minute.

No, he's only trained for a week or two, should be ok for a bench role against Man U though.

Apparently Pardew thinks ''he's a top player in training''.

Pardew confirmed that Ireland will definitely play a part from the bench.

    I would play

    Harper
    Simpson
    Williamson
    Coloccini
    Enrique
    Tiote
    Barton
    Jonas
    Ireland
    Ameobi
    Loverman
    With the formation of 4-1-2-1-2

That is with Barton and Jonas on the opposite wings, Tiote Defensive Midfield and Ireland in Attacking Midfield
