I'm thinking of putting all of my williamhill money (65 quid) on Man Utd this Tuesday. That way if we lose at least i'll have a bit of money to drown my sorrows.

What's the most that you'd pay for a result?

I've got £15 left in my sky bet account after the Grand National but haven't decided what I'm going to do with it. May keep it until Saturday and have it on Blackpool 1-3 Newcastle.

God i hope we beat Blackpool. We should do, but after the Wigan game i'm worried it'll fire them up.

Well done on your first thread, I think you've posted before, but welcome <ok>.

Don't know how much for a result, but I'd give my life savings (a few grand so far) to see us win some top level silverware in my lifetime (preferably when I'm still young!).

I'm pretty confident as we'll have all of our regular midfield back. They can win us the game. I'd rather be playing them now than four or five months ago when they were in good form. I think fatigue is catching them up as they don't have a big squad.

I couldn't bring myself to bet against us. Even if it meant my bad luck would almost guarantee us a draw at least.

I had a dream a few years back that we won the FA Cup. It was a very vivid dream so I stuck £10 on it - that was the season Wolves knocked us out (when they weren't even in the PL).

Thank you. I think the poster below who mentioned fatigue could be spot on. As for it being a draw on Tuesday, i think if we did draw that would mean safety this season, well worth the 65 squid. Though the more i think about it, the more i'd sooner spend it all on drink! Gin and tonic anyone?<cool>
