    Morning all,

Good too see that the winners are still flying in. Quite a few i fancy today, but one i do like is THE TIGER in the 3.55 Ayr. Started slowly and squeezed for room before keeping on well to beat Cathedral last time out. Although Cathedral ran 3rd next time out i think this one will improve for that run and the extra distance will suit. Currently around 5/2.

Very hard to be confident of anything at this meeting (unless you want to take 1/20 tomorrow) but a couple stand out.

Opposing John Gosden wouldn't be a great strategy this season, but Noble Mission is a fair price at 7/2 to get the better of Michelangelo in the Gordon stakes.

Morawij looks extremely progressive and can justify a skinny enough price in the Molecomb.

Morning guys, one from me today at a big price runs in the 5.25 Goodwood, Crown Choice 33/1 EW, having won off a mark of 94 last year at Goodwood in better company he is 12lb better off today and despite the stables other runner Silvanus being a shorter price Crown Choice is the selection of regular stable jockey Micky Fenton. One negative for me is the drop back to 5f, however, im sure the stable and jockey know the horse well enough to suggest he could go close (Bet 365 paying 5 Places)

I can't help laughing at all these arrests and criminal charges for abusive tweets. In my day you called someone a twat and that was it - job done. Mind you, I'm glad to see Rio Ferdinand in the ****, I don't know why he thinks anyone is remotely interested in anything he's got to say.

Olympics and Goodwood and I'm at work, bit of a bummer. Richard Hughes states in his book that Goodwood is his favourite meeting by far so I'm going in with doubles anf trebles today on all of his mounts, also on the German, Girolamo to see off Michealangelo but the nap today is Hototo in the 3:45.

Funniest line from the Olympics over the weekend was on the radio, some guy said that, "Seb Coe is taking the queen up the Orbit" !!!!

I think Kingsgate Choice can go well in the 5.25 if he can get a clear run in a dead middle draw, very intersting that Ed DG has managed to acquire the services of Tom Queally for this ride.

Jeez, i've read novels shorter than a few of the write ups here today! The Dermot Weld festival kicked off in a manner we all expected last evening but just a word on the weather in Ireand today and for the week..it's forcast to rain with some rain then spreading in followed by rain and then at the end of the week some more rain so i'd just be wary if going in big on some of his or any because they most definatly would/will prefer better going.

Apart from that i like Our Boy Jack in Ayr today 16:25, put a line through his last run as he got no run in at all and i expect him to take this at 9/2 and one for Galway i like is One Cool Shabra 5:00 who is ultra consistent and may well find the going to his liking this evening, definalty wouldn't put anyone off it at 14/1 and expect him to run his usual race and be well in with a chance of winning.

Best of luck to all bets.

Quite like Kirthill each way in the Goodwood opener. Not too concerned fallen doesn't ride him.

One for the bookies that - folk will be lumping on the Mark Johnston horses all week now. It's a myth that he always does well at Glorious Goodwood - he only had 1 winner in the first 3 days last year. One of those supposed trends which bookies bandy around <laugh>

Anyone got draw stats for Goodwood? Kirthill was stuck outside the whole way and had no chance but I thought a middle draw would be okay.
