Watford have signed 7 new players since yesterday, that must be some form of a record in professional football in the UK? I know some teams release players and then promote their youngsters or like Rangers bring in players who were not on a contract with another club, but to sign 7 players from other teams is amazing. Can't see them gelling as a team for some time. Ex Arsenal keeper -Manuel Almunia Ex-QPR defender Fitz Hall Daniel Pudil and Almen Abdi, and forwards Matej Vydra, Steve Leo Beleck and Ikechi Anya.
The reason they will be good signing is. The owners own Udinese and Granada the la liga side The youngsters will be the best of the best in terms of what any teams could go out and get from the top flight. All the youngsters have come in from Udinese & Granada, If they don't work out... woopdie doo bring in another load for nothing. Watford will be a team to watch
Has Forest signed their 7 Kuwaitis yet? I hear some Trees fans are not too emboldened by their new owners
tho the guys they picked up from italy might be rough diamonds...thing with watford is it reminds me of the time they got Vialli in as manager and that didnt end too good
I thought there were legal issues with owning more than one football club. Its definitely a conflict of interest or just even unfair, especially when they make 5 signings in a day on loan from the other 2 clubs they own. Not even sure it woulda been zola who signed those players either
