He is on a 1 week trial. so expect him back next week http://www.yorkshireeveningpost.co....united-paynter-leaves-for-blackpool-1-4788591
Lets all have a disco lets all have a disco naaaa naaaa naaaa naaaah! Poor old Millwall miss out though. They can always come in for AOB, he will score as many in a season
Blackpool would be a great move for him. Not because he would be good there, but because they are not only in the same division as us, they finished well above us last year
Its an unbelievable move to be fair. good luck to him, seems a good lad but I will be glad to get him of the wage bill. Cant see him contrubuting to this coming season for us so I wish him all the best
why do you know something we dont? Jacket prepared to de rail the move & offer billy a 1 bedroom flat in Bermondsey?
That could take them into Admin! That being said, Billys done really well to drop the access pounds at the end of last season. think we will see a better player once he has moved, but not a top end championship player by any means. Look at his championship record, rubbish with us, rubbish will Hull, rubbish on loan to Brighton and I am amazed a top half championship side has come in for him.
I expected a move to Doncaster would be his level tbh too but Shhh!!!! We need to keep that low-key until he's gone!
What's he on trial for? Fraudulently presenting himself as a Championship striker? Nevermind, at least he'll be able to rejoin his family on the beach.
I keep telling you guys, Paynter will be a real handful for someone. Clearly not for us, but I bet he comes back to haunt us somewhere. With the olympics development, Bermondsey or Berm on Sea / South Chelsea as they may get renamed when all the Yuppies start moving in is quite the up & coming area now. Wouldn't move there myself, but Mighty & co will be drinking Pimms in the near future. Just you wait & see
Boggers Mighty lives in Italy and has no intention of moving back to blighty,,, but the redevelopment plans for Bermondsey are quite stunning i must agree
