Peltier & Beckford £3M

He's not on anywhere near £40k, more like half that

 

Leicester maybe rich & stupid, but even they can't afford to pay anyone £40k a week. I also doubt very much that any side outside the big 6 in the PL & maybe one or two others could approd 40k a week. That's over £2m a year PLUS win bonuses. Somehow I doubt that!!!

 

Don't think that would work Josh. Beckford needs a target man alongside him because he won't challenge in the air for headers, while McCormack is too small to be a target man and it's not his game. So we still need a Kandol or Becchio to work alongside either Beckford or McCormack

 

He was on 30k at Everton why would he drop down a league to be paid same,

Hes on around 40k per week

 

I doubt he was on 30k at everton. Probs about 20k

 

I believe he's on just over 30k

I would take 3M for Peltier and Beckford any day of the week

 

No one is on 40K a week here. 30K a week is the highest we was prepared to offer.

We had agreed a deal with Everton to sign Yakubu but the move broke down on wages where Yak wanted 40K and we would only offer 30K

 

Perhaps add Green/Austin/Brown into the center of that midfield behind Ross/in front of the back four?

 

I've heard he is on 27k a week at leicester. This was his brother telling me around 4 months ago so I reckon its probably pretty accurate.

 

Im not surprised at this tbh, Mills was aparently our biggest earner, Pearson looks like he wants a clearout of the top players that he thinks are being overpaid.

Think Beckford could be a force this year, just don't know where £3m for someone who could well score 20+ and a decent right back is cheap tbh.

Beckford, Smith, Dacourt etc etc, they all get mentioned as being heroes by Leeds fans and they always want them back, well I DON'T, they weren't that great in the first place and I'll reply to anyone who suggests otherwise.
