    Cheers <ok>

I think Liverpool vs Chelsea is the biggest non local derby and have to agree with you but I don't really see that same heat from those games in the United vs arsenal games... It just doesn't seem to be there anymore.

I would say we are one of the most hated in English footie at the moment but it bodes for great atmospheres at away matches and good banter between fans. I quite like it and winning the game just feels that bit sweeter!

Were you to take the cash away then some 'newer' fans would most likely lose interest and not come to games but our 'hardcore' support would obviously carry on. Ticket prices at SB would drop and I reckon the atmosphere would be a lot better. Our away fans are one of the best in the league in terms of attendance and vocal support and shows the amount of loyal fans we have. Up there with Liverpool, Newcastle, Man Utd and Arsenal. I love the away games. A proper atmosphere and always a laugh!

  6. Those three teams have some of the largest numbers of world-wide plastics in the game!

Okay, so I'd probably agree with you that most of 'Pool's plastics have probably already abandoned them to start supporting £ity, as 'Pool is quite clear no longer the force it was twenty years ago, and is unlikely to be for a very long time.

Us Spurs fans are the best and most loyal in London, surely? We make a hell of a racket at away games.

You also have regular fire drills at Wembley.

Id say Newcastle Vs the Scum is the biggest because as mentioned before we both rarely win trophies these days so as soon as the fixtures are released these are the two that are penned in straight away!

The Kevin Phillips/Niall Quinn & Alan Shearer days were my favourite.

I think the Cardiff Vs Swansea game deserves a mention aswell... Only game in Wales pretty much..

Each one is different and means so much to those involved...

The biggest game has to be Scousers v Mancs, good for them it's huge....Derby games are special though and there are many good one's, some cracking one's in London, and also around the country....and long may they last.

Obviously being very biased, there is only one winner in my eyes, the NE one (many will disagree and i accept that fact, this is something we in the wilderness are born with)

We have a saying and it goes 'ftm'......

Should ruffle a few feathers of the little black and white creatures.....

Good thread by the way, and everyone feel free to visit the mackem board, we are very tolerant up there.

Exeter v Plymouth. Feisty little derby that one. They absolutely hate each other.
