Surely can't be long before we see it now. Haven't heard anything about it - does anyone know of a release date?
I actually asked them in the city shop today and they said they still haven't been given a date yet....
I suppose they want to sell as many as possible, and maybe that happens when there is a big gap between the release of the two shirts. Plus a shirt being released close to the start of the season, when people get a little more excited.

This. Our Centenary home kit (the one we wore in L1) was announced and available before the D3 Playoff Final the previous season, so it must have been within 3 weeks of the season ending that it went on sale.
I was hoping they'd unveil it at one of the away pre season games, it being an away shirt and everything. Did anybody go to Boston tonight? Because if I remember rightly, they play in very similar colours to us and we were away. Are we bullish enough to make a Conference North side wear their away kit at their home ground?
Good point, Boston are the only other club I know of that also play in what they call 'black and amber'. Unless we just wore last years away kit (the light blue one) that becomes this seasons 3rd kit, doesn't it? Would seem weird to wear it for the first time in a crappy friendly at Boston.
Dundee Utd's kit is almost certainly orange. And Wolves play in 'Sonic Gold'. Having seen this season's kit up close, it appears we do as well.
Wolves play in 'old gold' - I don't get the obsession with the 'shade' of amber... look at previous kits! they vary from almost yellow through to our Prem promotion season, were the Umbro kit was almost orange. Nobody went on about the 'shade' of amber of the Diadora kit the year before the Prem promotion season either, that was more like a 'burnt orange'. It's only because Adidas have actually labelled their colours that people have something to whinge about.
