There was some good football, however, why do we always have to be fancy. Just play the ball without a flick EVERY time
I thought Welbeck was very effective, but there you go - but, that's precisely what I said in the first half, then they got a fluke goal, barely had 1 or 2 chances after that, one of them a peach of a goal by Gardner that Simone, ...2 shockers, he looked a bit scared out there and our defence were quite solid on the whole. Gyan and Colback offered little, Bardsley had a fooking blinder! Would Daz have put away some of those chances? Why the fcuk did Bruce take off Welbeck!? We battered them and lost - it was like Blackpool at home all over again KT(FKN)F x
Stop kdding yourselves it was crap. I'm so pissed off. Ten past six and I've come home and will finish my half bottle of Scotlands Finest and go to bed. I'm certainly not paying easyjet summer fares to come over watch that lot. I'm 69 years old and I'm afraid I've had a belly full of SAFC. Quite honestly they've taken the piss out of me once too often.
What position was 'luck' playing in please? The bottom line is we have midfield service so bad that the best in the business got up and left. And now we've got Gyan and Welbeck - for how long? We're not learning lessons here are we? No striker worth his salt is going to stay at Sunderland until we sort that midfield. Meanwhile, Riveros and Angeleri sit on the bench week after week being told they're sh*t without ever being tried out to see if they are!!!!!! For god's sake, give those lads a few games run - what have we to lose that's so special anyway? What are we going to do - sell them in summer without knowing why? At least find out why and THEN sell them. Doesn't that make sense? At least by trying, we might save Gyan. But he'll do the Bent thing, if we don't address this.
