Is anyone else watching a fascinating contest between Uruguay and Senegal not Benin at the Olympics? Despite being outplayed for long periods Senegal not Benin have been clinical in their finishing and currently lead 2-0. Makes me wonder if Saints are watching and learning how to defend in numbers, remain calm, and hit the back of the net when chances arise.

Either way, best game I've seen in a long time!

Looks like Senegal to me. Would've been waaay more impressive had it been Benin.

Senegal?! That'll teach me to watch from too far away on a tiny screen..Better change my post a bit then!
Still, they've been mighty entertaining and well drilled so far, expecting a great second half.

The UAE gave Uruguay a very good game too and were unlucky not to get a point out of it. Had this one down as a GB win, but not so sure now. The olympics is certainly bringing out some unlikely stars and hopefully Jack Cork can join them.

This game is brilliant. Senegal's performance makes GB's draw with them look a little more creditable, only problem is their consistently awful tackling and if this referee had been in charge of that first game we'd definitely have won it.

Hopefully a few more days on the training ground has had a positive effect on the GB game.

Problem is this makes it very hard for GB to qualify, assuming Senegal will beat UAE and we'll lose to a Uruguay side needing a result to get through.

I don't think you can make assumptions like that. All we need to think about is beating Uruguay, and we have a good chance of doing so I reckon. They have looked poor so far.

Team looked as if they were getting used to each other. Let's be fair they have only played three games. Expect more improvement on Wednesday. With Spain out they have real chance of an unexpected medal.

If they finish second who do they face in the Quarters? Get through that then they have a chance of a medal. I still hold out more hope for the women.

Think it's Honduras or Japan either should be very winnable.

Morocco would have to thrash Spain and Japan thrash Honduras to stop Honduras going through.

I'm keeping my fingers crossed for us finishing 2nd. Would keep alive my chances of seeing us play when I go to Wembley for the first semi-final.
