Why does our forum attract all these drug addled ...deluded fools from other clubs..? on the whole we don't bother other forums , only occasionally do I venture out..usually in good humour,but we get all these planks ..it must be envy ..nothing else..
Some of you seem to be dismissing our 1-0 win over Rochdale as being insignificant. I'll have you know, that Rochdale are one of the best teams in Rochdale. Not only that, but despite looking like a team who'd never played together before, we still won. I love pre-seasons, it's like watching the team you love pretending to not know how to play football. We could have been in trouble today, but Bruce's substitutions in the second half were a masterstroke. All 11 of them. I can't wait for our next test at Donny, what they've done making an old B&Q into a stadium is well impressive and I'm looking forward to seeing who's actually in our first XI(XXIV).

Glad to see you're not backing those two idiots that think we should be worried because we lost a meaningless game. Friendlies are strange because, after all this time without football, you can't wait to go and see you're team again. Then you get there and realise, no matter how hard you try, you can't bring yourself to give a ****. I suppose it's the same for the players too. There's just nothing like the real thing.

shrews do not do mediocre or dire. compared to last season so far we are having a poorer start. last season friendlies- man utd w 2-1 h. wolves w h 1-0 birmingham w 1-0 carling cup- derby county w a 3-2, swansea city w 3-1,at home, arsenal narrowly lost 1-3 at the emirates, yes the shrews have lived! this season drawn away o-o at evesham town, narrowly lost 1-2 home to birmingham, thrashed leicester 2-0. leicester played a " strong team. that puts leicester city somewhere between evesham and market harborough. good luck this season you may need it! oh and floreat salopia, latin for let shrewsbury flourish.! just be glad you played us at a low point in a friendly. god help you if you ever come up against the mighty shrews in the cup, home or away. bring on wolves, leeds away in the cup and sheff utd away in the league. we may see you in league 1 next season1 floreat salopia, come on you shrews breath on 'em. besides you should be grateful to us for exposing your many weaknesses. cannot think of any strengths!
