Ready to start games at the highest level or does he need gradual usage in the first-team before we throw him into the mix? Ready for the Premier League just yet? Yes or No? Would you be confident with him playing against the likes of Man City and United? Yes or No?
I think with Cork and Davis back, he will be lucky to start, but he has shown that he would not let us down if called upon. Looks a very capable player indeed considering his age.
Far better than both Hammond and Chaplow technically. I forsee him being on the bench often and featuring heavily in the FA Cup and League Cup.
Take away age, just ask if he is good enough. From the 3 games so far he seems to to be the only player praised in all the games. Would be abit nervous for him to play the first game, but it looks like we will play 3 central midfielders so I have full faith in him
Honestly, he's been the player who (even ignoring age) has impressed me most this pre-season, BUT, it is only pre-season. He won't need to start much this season but I have no doubt we don't need to loan him out and whenever he'll be used, he'll not let us down.
If we had the 7 subs rule last season, I would say he'd be ready as he'd no doubt have had more game time. The fact is at the minute he only has two competitive games under his belt. He is nowhere near ready to play week in week out for us. Sub/cup appearances yes, but not as a fully fledged first-team player.
Why did we even let the skate bastard come into our academy set-up? Is this all some kind of perverted piss-take?
In fairness, when he joined the club, we were ahead of P*mpey in the pecking order. And also, according to Wiki, P*mpey no longer exist.
You've lied to us all. You weren't really happy when Lambert smashed in that penalty at Millwall, were you? WERE YOU??!?! ****.
I think he'll feature a lot in cup matches this season. I don't think he'll start a Prem game unless there is injuries and suspensions. We have 5 CMs which is enough: Hammond, Cork, Schneiderlin, Davis, Ward-Prowse Which is good! Ready for a big part in the team!
The formation we'll use more often than not has 3 CMs and you don't think the (probably) 4th choice will start once? Right
No I personally don't. The first four I've listed are still our better and more experienced players so far. I meant I don't think he'll start a league game. Cup games he'll be the first name on the team sheet.
