I've got to be honest - I'm very uneasy with this potential Peltier deal - Warnock knows this league and what players he needs to suceed in it and he wants Peltier Now at some point very soon Leeds are going to have bag fulls of money to spend and Warnock still wants Peltier Leicester have wealthy owners so I assume Pearson doesn't have to sell a good prospect just to balance the books So who has the right take on Peltier - I suspect its Warnock
Have to agree................ http://www1.skysports.com/football/teams/millwall and here is the walls busy summer
peltier could do well here but its the sticking point of how much to offer, hew is not worth over 500k in anyones eyes is he?
Hey Farsley, good thanks - And you? I really had enough of the battles - Went away for a bit and realised that I was part of the problem I decided to change my posting style, maybe its not as much fun but I am taken more seriously nowadays Mind you, I do keep bopping any maurding Hull fans on the nose when they make a twat of themselves on our board
Options are not limited. There are many many defenders available. Just a rudimentary google search brought up the following webpages - I don't try to pretend I know any of these, but am sure some would jump at the chance to play for the great LUFC. Especially given the financial problems in Spain and Italy. And some would be absolutely brilliant players for us. http://www.goal.com/en-us/news/88/s...an-list-albelda-maresca-palop-and-the-players http://www.goal.com/en/news/11/tran...-list-del-piero-nesta-gattuso-all-the-players http://www.goal.com/en-india/news/2...n-list-ederson-ireneusz-jelen-all-the-players http://www.goal.com/en/news/1717/ed...ist-ballack-barnetta-pizarro-all-the-players-
As the window begins to close and they realize they are not getting any more and made a mistake by declining Alwaysfailed's offer. You know the rest.
Nope. It's because I undestand business and psychology. Apparently we have had a bid accepted of £500k for little Peltier. It's a little more than what I was saying we should bid, but what do I really know about the true value of a player? Now if the rumours are true that, according to Radio Leeds, we have had a bid accepted of £500k - which I would expect even you, O' Mighty Mighty Leeds-arse-licker, might realise is below £650k that LCFC have apparently already rejected - which is clearly the level of bid we are prepared to offer for this player rather than the £750k that Leicester are asking for, how do you square that with your previous high and mighty put-yourself-on-a-pedestal comments in this thread and subsequently? I think you should award yourself one of those penis statues. Or are you already sat on one?
Our local jouno has said Peltier hasnt undergone a medical and there is still some obstacles to the deal. We have just announced the squad numbers for next season and Peltier has been given the number 15 shirt
There are lots of contractual things to sort out. He may well stay at LCFC if they can't agree those or if LCFC demand he stays in the end. All that is known at the mo is that currently LCFC have accepted a bid of (apparently) £500k and Peltier is clear he wants to join us and leave LCFC, but if the deal can't be finalised, then so be it.
Like money I would assume as in we can't afford the fee... With all the rumours continuing I would imagine Warnock is lining up a few players who can become a Leeds player within 24 hours of funding being made available, medicals, fee's and personal terms etc all agreed in principle, just need the T/O to happen and they can walk straight in.
Ristac - the issue is not at our side from what I can tel. The issue is that he is on a high wage at LCFC and we are not offering the same. Exactly in the way that we had to top up many players' contracts once they had left us, this is the same (ie Peltier is contracted to be paid say £10k per week for the next 2 years with LCFC, but we are only offering him £7k per week, then he is still owed £3k per week for two years and that is the contractual obstacle)
