Ok so last season all of us was hoping and happy for us to just stay up......... But with all the players we have bought in where would you be happy to finish in the league and think with your head not your heart.

Personally i would be happy with a top 12 finish anything below with the squad we have would be a little disappointing. i think a solid start is a must and if we have to carry on our home form is a must to have a good season.

As for a cup run.... Yes i would like a good F.A cup run with a strong squad and maybe use the Capital cup to maybe bring a few youngsters through and give them a game.

Yep top 12 for me aswell. Small steps, and Rome wasnt built in a day.

With the money we've spent, we've got to be looking at a top 12 finish at the least...

We've done a few threads like this at various stages of the close season and I get the impression that most think we're bound for greater things this time around; I'm still a little cautious and feel that I would be happy with comfortable survival with points to spare and knowing we're not going to be relegated 4-6 games before seasons end. Above bottom 5 so.

Last year the safest way to answer questions like these was to say 17th.

This year we learnt precisely what that entails... so I'm going to say at least 10 points clear of the strugglers - about 10th to 12th is it?

Just to be comfortably clear of relegation with six games to go would do me. I still think we're behind the really established mid-table clubs but it will come in time.

I think we shouldnt set our target too high - remember we have only been in the PL for one year, and all the changes mean we are a new team.

But we definitely should not be struggling.

I would be very happy with a top 12 finish and a good cup run.

I'm not a person that allows my heart to rule my head, but i can't but be excited at the moment. Survival means another 50-60 million. Thats the simple fact. A good season should see us in 15-14-13. If we over achieve, then 12-11-10 is possible.

As with all 19 other teams, our aim should be to win every game we play in and win the league, league cup, and fa cup!! We won't of course, or come anywhere near it. But that must be our aim, so we can finish as high as possible. Otherwise what's the point of it all? If our team has the attitude that they can't win all their games, fans might as well only watch the games they think they can win....
