Bolton have told Cisse to do one,Delboy has stated that a door has been left open should he wish to return to us,His loyalty to us is nil,he has proven that.

Should we cut off our noses to spite our faces and tell him to piss off or go cap in hand and beg his return, after all if he is not good enough for Bolton why should he qualify for us,we are both in the Championship and both deserve the same respect.

If it was up to me I would tell him to do one,BCFC mean everything to me but I am only a fan,how do you feel about it..?

IMO one of our best players last season, I wouldn't go cap in hand but if there is anyway without losing credibility, then I'd bring him back.

Id say no. No doubt about his ability but we are building a team to go forward so shouldnt look back.
I wonder how it will effect some of the players if he stays

I don't know where all this stuff about him being disloyal etc is coming from. He's stayed quiet and professional, was upfront about wanting to talk to other teams before deciding and that's exactly what he's done. In his time here he's been frozen out the team by Millen, initially not played by Mcinnes then offered a lower contract. Bolton already have Fabrice Muamba, Keith Andrews, Mark Davies, Darren Pratley and Stuart Holden on their books for cm and are looking likely to go straight back up again. Just because they said no doesn't mean he's suddenly not good enough for us..

I think it really depends on the behind-the-scenes dynamic. There are no 12 year olds in the squad. Most have families and recognise the value of money, and only a few come from this area so nobody was expecting Cisse to sacrifice his opportunity for us.
    However
If I were manager I would keep him on the bench and try to find an effective alternative system. It would be good for the other players to see what the rewards are for loyalty, and that BCFC are not necessarily just a stepping stone to success elsewhere. Then if we get in trouble he will be there to draft into the team as insurance

    Cap in hand....no.
Just tell him the offer is still on the table, take it or leave it.

Have to agree with Caldicot (Chepstows Council Estate ;) ) Cider Red on this one.
Same offer as before, he is a good player who would be a miss to us. He wanted to speak to others before agreeing a pay cut.

As already stated by Jambo only been with us for 2 year, and in those 2 years been used as a late sub in the 1st season until Millen realised he was good, then frozen out in his 2nd year until Del came in and used him regurly, then because of cost cutting asked to take a pay cut to stay longer.
How many of us would stay in our employments if we had those last 2 years then asked to take a pay cut.

Del still rates him and has to trim the wage bill could only offer X instead of Y

So yes if he takes what was on the table, I would be pleased with that. To me he has been our poor mans Viarra

Typically I'd tell the player to **** off, but if he'll sign on reduced wages then I'm more than happy for him to rejoin.

Get him back.. everyone is complaining we cant attract any quality. he is quality.

He is being a bit big time though, but I suppose we would all do the same, its not very nice having to accept an actual pay cut whatever industry you're in.

Find a way without any embarrassment to either party I would say.

    That's because you're a silly man.

I'd have him back in an instant. Hell I'd take any player back who hasn't ****ed us around or badmouthed his time here.
