Friday night, the tele is playing up, can't go on the beer due to a meeting in the morning (just a few quiet one's indoors for medicinal reasons), and i'm home alone:emoticon-0125-mmm:

Some decent music is required, from all genre's.

    Classical.............................not the SAFC thing though.

    Your favourite from the following.

    50's, 60's 70's and 80's.

Best Heavy rock song ever, best punk song ever, most random song, and a new catergory i will call the MoNsMush which is that dancey stuff..

    But please no rap.

    Here's a combo Comm.

I ****ing love the O'Jays, grew up with my mum playing a load of soul, disco & Motown, also, this kinda **** was the forefather of House music which I so adore, and which keeps me in Ray-Bans & German cars!

This is not so much a remix as a 're-touch', and I play it often, and it usually goes down well, enjoy!

Doesn't fit in a genre as such but the stone roses first album. Unlike any other music, funky bass and drums, unorthadox guitar and a man whose voice has no right to sound good. Elephant Stone or fools gold.

Remember, any clown can sing in tune, it takes real genius to sound class out of tune.

Mush probably saw my answer coming a mile off.

Pink floyd - The Wall or Dark Side
Elbow are my current faves - any album
Punk - not my style but quite likes The Sex Pistols coz they were cool when I was groins up
Dance - early prodigy stuff especially The fat of the Land and The Prodigy Experience, both exceptional albums.
Also check out Judgement Day by Members of Mayday. That will get you dancing.

I did indeed, and won't argue.

The Roses started the joining together of so many musical genres, broke my heart to not get to the Manchester gig the other week.

Just listened to them, forgot all about them really, it was fine, well pretty good really.

Wouldn't mind some things a bit faster, but i like punk always have done and always will (still not my favourite type but it's ok) but i dont really consider the Pistols to be punk, just a fabricated load of junk. Craas, there was a punk band.

Heavy Rock - Nantucket Sleighride (Live)- Mountain
Punk - Pretty Vacant - Sex Pistols
Reggae - Redemption - Bob Marley
Mod - The Bitterest Pill - The Jam
Random - The Bluest Blues - Alvin Lee

Not a big fan of Punk, reggae or mod music so probably pretty boring picks to most of you into them genres.

Add almost all Pink Floyd music into my favourites.

Decent choice there, did some good stuff.

Although before my time, i find a strange and weird fascination towards late 60's music, especially when it's combined with the vietnam war, for which i do admit i have a warped fixtation with.

Along with the un-heard of war in Laos, the most heavily bombed country in the history of the world, yet few know about it...

Guess that's why the best movie ever made was Platoon..imo......although full metal jacket had a better soundtrack.

Must admit i do like a lot of 60's stuff inc early stones, beatles, doors and some soppy lovey dovey songs.

Would have to stick with Platoon for soundtrack just for the hauntingly beautiful Adagio for strings.

On a different note Buskers. Seen some good ones in my time but checkout on you tube Ed Alleyne Johnson. Not brill with links sorry) Violinist, yes strange choice i know but this guy as well as classical does covers of Sabbath, Neil Young, Megadeth etc. He's bloody brilliant. Met the guy and bought a couple of CD's off him.
