    I certainly think we do.

It's all well and good when we pass our way round the pitch, but I noticed that only Saylor is a good, strong header of the ball in our team.

I'm not talking about heading on goal, I'm talking about challenging players in the air for the ball, and being able to stand toe to toe with them physically.

Ba and Cisse are good at heading on goal. However, Cisse isn't very threatening, power-wise, and doesn't help us much in defence.

Ba is ok, but still not that great against powerful players in the air.

Williamson and Coloccini aren't at all great against powerful players.

Without Saylor, we can get done over by teams with big players from set plays.

Shola is strong, and decent in the air. Even if he doesn't win many aerial challenges, his power and presence are useful, and he stops players placing the ball easily.

However, Shola won't be in our starting 11 too often.

I think we should be looking at adding some power to our side. Douglas would be great, but we don't know what the **** is going on there.

Carroll would be good, he's a good player to have when defending from set plays and such.

We never scored from a creative set play. We scored a few times from direct free kicks, but whenever we tried to hit it to the back post for someone to head back across goal or something like that, we never scored.

We tried the same **** over and over, Williamson and Saylor on the far side, heading back across goal.

Saylor is good in the air, but if our routine from set plays is as predictable as ours is, all the opposition will do is put their best CB to counter him, and it's over. And Williamson is average in the air.

We also conceded the most from set plays, particularly after Saylor got injured.

Of course we do. What's there to even discuss about this?

If you do think we need it, perhaps suggest some players or tell us why you think so?

Well yes, since we're **** in the air we clearly need some players who are not **** in the air. That covers the first and third questions you asked, as for the second - I really hope and doubt that the Newcastle scouting team aren't looking here for player suggestions, so why bother suggesting any?

This is an issue that's so well known to everyone and even Pardew has publicly commented on it - Asking the question 'do we need more aerial power' is basically like asking if we play in black and white stripes. Of course we ****ing do.

He can, but Pardew decided to put him on the back post heading across goal all season instead of letting him do his own thing.

Saylor could score 6-8 goals in a season if he's given freedom to move. He's got great poaching skills.

i ain't a fan of bringing Carroll back but if we had him in the side, we'd be better. Every freekick we take gets lofted high to Williamson to knock into the box via a header, it's the most predictable thing we do. If we were aiming for Carroll it could be really threatening!
