Yes he did, and it sounds like he played well. Notably, he made a very good last man challenge to prevent Exeter from scoring. (according to Exeter commentary team)
http://www.saintsfc.co.uk/page/NewsDetail/0,,10280~2861002,00.html "After a string of good saves, Paulo Gazzaniga was subsituted and replaced by Chris Johns. Guillem Bauza was a handful throughout the second half, and he slammed home to give Exeter what turned out to be a consolation goal." AHAH! So Gazza wasn't inbetween the sticks when they scored the goal!
Yeah, but you'd get a few years of him being the great hope for the roster, followed by the sinking realization that he's dragging us into the abyss.
Why were they not wearing our new away kit? Was the clash with red and white stripes such that we need a new a third strip?
We're using the yellow away kit from last season as our third strip. Chuffed with that tbh, really liked that kit and it means I can use mine when going to some away matches
Just got home from the game, I did read a few of the comments during the game and felt they were a bit over the top. It was a very average game with Exeter in my opinion the better side. We seemed to be playing a different formation again with 3 across the back and all though Barnard didn't shine tonight, I hope he goes to a good club because he does have lots to offer especially in the Championship.
He looked bloody great at times with his positional sense to block or make clean saves but he also had a couple of dodgy moments and two were crosses but he looks very very capable and with good coaching will push who ever is 1st choice but I feel maybe next season.
