Hooper is a good shout, I predicted an England call-up for him last summer before he moved to Celtic, and he's already in the U-21's. He cost them £2.5m and has scored 16 in 26 since, so I think they'd want double their money at least - especially from an English club with a £35m striker to replace.

Yeah in the long run he would be worth it.

Wouldn't bother going for Wickham tbh, we need someone youngish who can do the business now, like Sturridge. I'd certainly put a £10-15m bid in, he looks class and he's English. That said, I wouldn't say no to another Tiote-esque bargain :D

Yeah see what you mean there mate, You will need someone who can do the job already and you know will get the goals straight away as Wickham would be a project as he is not complete yet, But would be great for the future.

Does anyone think Anelka is set to leave Chelsea at the end of the season?

^ Maybe. I'll love him if we could get him at a reasonable price and if he takes a pay-cut but unfortunately can't see it happening. Think he'll go to America or one of them rich-filled leagues were they can afford his hefty wages. I'll take him though.. class act on his day.

Tiote, need I say more? I'm confident that our scouting team can decide whether they would make it in the Premiership.
