Not trying to mindlessly defend Senna, He's made a couple of costly errors in his short career (Spa, Brazil, Valencia), They didn't actually show a replay of this one did they? but this one looks like Romains fault to me from the only picture i can find. please log in to view this image Its a real shame, because if you look at Raikkonen, who's now 4th and ahead of both McLarens despite looking slower than Grosjean you wonder what he could have achieved.
Fair enough, all i saw was Grosjean going off at the hairpin and Senna having a load of smoke around him or something. Apparently Grosean had major floor problems after lap 1, which could explain his slowness.
Apart from Alonso, you could argue that Kimi has been the most consistent driver of the season so far, the car is bullet proof and hes always in the points (apart from malaysia which wasnt his fault) and he hasnt made serious contact with any driver.
beat a McLaren, A ferrari, A redbull, both mercedes and his team-mate (who other people have strangely voted for) can't see why he wouldn't get DotD.
Lotus's (or Renault as they were then) biggest mistake was replacing him with Petrov in my opinion. If he had two and a half seasons under his belt I don't think he'd have made the mistakes he has done and he'd probably be fighting for the title now. He only beat Perez because of a grid penalty, Perez had outqualified Kamui and at worse done an equal job in the race, arguably better given how far back he started.
I think Raikkonen could of been right up there with Alonso and Webber if Renault had not consistently adopted timid and/or rubbish race strategies that have cost both Renault drivers a haul of points this season.

Thanks for that list, Sporty. I think it serves as evidence that this forum is generally on the ball with appreciating what happens over a season. One minor point: you've mentioned "Valencia" and "Spain". Don't you think 'Spain' really ought to be edited to 'Barcelona'?
Or doesn't he mean "Europe" instead of Valencia? Everywhere else has the country. But yes, thanks for all of these lists weekly.
Yeah I love reading the end results, It gives a clear indication of who is doing well and who is not. for example: - HRT were regular worst teams but now it looks like they are doing a better job in the view of the forum members. - Lotus and Sauber have been spotted as doing well this year - Mclaren got Top team award in the first race but havnt got that accolade since. Even become the worst performing team in 5 races. even though they are up the top end.
