Loic Remy - Would be a great signing if it comes off

If sources are to be believed, we're really interested in Remy. Just reading the chronicle here, and I'm convinced we've got a good chance.

Marsielles are strapped for cash, and need to buy to sell, so they can't be too picky on a price.

It's reported they value him at 15m euros, but I think we can bust their balls down to 10-12m, as they can't be too picky on a price, and they have a couple of other strikers there already.

He'd be great for our set up IMO.

Very quick, good on the ground and a good header on goal. I could see him being very dangerous being slotted through a defence with a Cabaye or Marveaux pass.

Would be great to get yet another French speaker in and also have a top class striker to play when Ba and Cisse are away.

Who knows, maybe he'll be more than 3rd choice?

I've seen him often, and I can't see he's lower than Ba and Cisse's standard, he's around the same bracket IMO.

 

Listen despite our recent fall out I'm willing to forigive and forget, however have you forgotten to take your medication? we have absolotely no chance and our recent transfer activity suggests we like a few smokescreens floating about relating to targets out of our budget.

 

I'm sorry but I can't see us getting Remy, hope I'm proved wrong.

 

It`s 2 quality defenders I want to see over the line first not an attacker. Use the money to guarentee getting a CH and FB.

 

If it happens in the next few days, this might just be right. Generally if we're linked for more than a week or two, there's nothing in it. Cabaye, Marveaux, Santon, Obertan AND Abeid all came out of nowhere last year to being virtually signed within a week, not to mention Cisse. Fingers crossed this isn't the case for Debuchy too, but I do think if this drags on for a while, there's likely nothing in it.
