Would you sign Stephen Ireland?

I think it's wrong to say he's been a worse player since leaving Man City, he came into a ****e Villa side, and it musn't be very pleasent or a confidence boost to get shifted from your current team as part of a deal so a better player can take your place.
Villa have shown their lack of unity and friendship off the pitch, and all this has probably lead to Ireland's lack of quality lately, he's not been motivated and Villa have been in poor form this season. It's not like Ireland can just be a stand out player and sort out all of Villa's problems by himself.

I think there's no future for him at Villa, and i think we can get him off Villa for about 3-4 million. We've all talked about being anxious about buying too many foreign players, and we all want a proven PL player. Ireland would be a fantastic addition if he shows his quality, and in form he's worth 10-12 million.

He's about as good as Barton in form, except he has much more pace and skill. He's definitely an all round better player than Jonas and Nolan, and on the same level as Tiote and Barton.

How much would you pay for him maximum, if he shows the same form he did at Man City?

I'd say maximum 6 million, but i reckon we'd get him for 4.

 

Cant decide til we see him play, really. Even then he has to look really good in the next 6 games or I wouldnt go near him in summer.

how often would he play: chances are 1 of our key midfield players will be injured for a large part of the season. he can easily fill in or replace them

Ok, I'll let you off. It will be difficult for him to find form with just 6 games left but I'd like to see us bring him in permanently if available at the right price.

he didn't want to be there with that excuse for a manager. I'm not saying what he did was right but no player looks great if they don't wat to be playing, if he's happy here he should return to form, can never be sure though
