He's certainly got that inconsistency out of his system now District. He's crap every game.

Can just see us offloading him in favor of Bellamy, who will be mostly injured.

I saw him when you played Newcastle at home and he looked brilliant, all went down hill from there. Bellamy couldn't play more than 15 games IMO

I knew we'd been here before.

Like the name change by the way.

His entire game relies on knock the ball past the defender and outsprint them which would be fine other than the fact he's not that fast anymore. He's looked average in my opinion in the friendlies and this is against opposition (certainly in the 1st 2 games) that was of league 2 standard. His effort, determination and desire are also minimal. At no point last season did he ever try to win back one of the multiple balls he lost or to chase down opposition. Definite sell if we can find a buyer.

Thanks. I think the old one was a little impersonal.

As i've said before you'd get a better price on SWP being player of the year next season than Clint Hill at the same point last season.
Shouldn't write anyone off, you never know what twists and turns the season is going to hold for QPR.

Good squad player who could, on his day, change a game...worth keeping at the moment in my book, although needs to improve on last season and get a decent run under his belt (which will be tough with added competition)

There's also his famously poor first touch, his second being a tackle...

With apologies to Quite Possibly Raving (again!), looks like my hunch is beginning to pay off. Wonder what the odds are for SWP to score first on 18th August?!

See if he can keep his confidence playing in front of his 'fans' at Loftus Rd!
Like you say, hope he scores<ok>

Agree Northolt, he needs to break that particular habit (of not scoring at home) but the signs are good. After all, we broke our habit of losing in front of TV cameras.
