I think I actually preferred you as Mrtiote with the aliens - it was more amusing. Just a personal view. <ok>

Just saw it at The Gate tonight and was blown away by it. Really impressed with Hardy, Levitt and Hathaway and all the returning cast kept up their excellent performances. I disagree with comments about the pacing, I was never bored and thought it flowed really well, with the only slightly jarring bit being when the Spec Ops guys showed up to get killed 5 minutes later. On the whole I absolutely loved it and I think the trilogy will rightly be remembered as one of the great pieces of cinema!

It was never going to be as epic as The Dark Knight but it was a decent finish to the trilogy.

Agree with the comments about Bane's voice - I could barely make out what he was saying most of the time. Fair play to Hardy for managing what can only be described as 'eye acting' as that was all you could see of his face!

I think a big factor was that Nolan decided to film most of the Gotham action in daylight - this really altered the mood of the film, especially when you compare it to the 'trippy' scenes in Batman Begins when the toxin is released from the water supply... all done at night. The Batman suit just doesn't look right in bright daylight and how many bats do you see during the day?

Overall it was a fitting finale and I was genuinely caught out by the twist at the end - unusual for me - I think the problem was always going to be that the last film was SO good, that this one was always going to struggle to compete. I don't think there will be anymore Batman movies from Nolan, but I really wouldn't be in the least bit surprised to see a 'Robin' movie in the pipeline...

On that subject, did anyone else notice how much 'Robin' looked like Heath Ledger? <yikes>

**** story lines and ridiculous effects and costumes!!! I prefer realistic films, however they simply don't make them other than Clint Eastwood these days.

Actually that's my heart speaking son.

I'm too involved for super hero antics and special effects.

    No ****-for-brains, that's not what i'm saying.

You post negative crap on every thread and it's simply boring and pointless - much like yourself I suppose.

You've already got two strikes against you, I'd suggest you slowed down a bit and tried to be part of the team rather than the Lone Ranger!

Nope, simply calling it as it is.

You're just a poor quality 'wum' and your comments are negative and pointless - much like your entire existance.

    Ipso facto. <cool>

Goodness, if I have a small mind, that doesn't say much for a plum like you who can't even formulate proper sentences or even spell properly!
