I have been to Bangkok... I think the temples are worth a look but i thought the floating market was just a rip off.... i have nothing else to add as i only stayed a week and was starting to get extreamly ill around this point (ended up collapsing in Australia but that is a different story)

Hope you have a great trip :)

I have been quite a few times done the tourist bits and pieces, one thing to do in Bangkok in the snipe boat klone tour which goes from the Oriental Hotel. Any help I can give just shout.

What are you looking to do?

Ha probably. River kwai tour is very good and enlightening. Also whether looking for adult entertainment or not soi cowboy on Sukhumvit and patpong night market will be an experience you'll never forgot.
Word of advice don't go to bars upstairs in patong and keep an eye on the bills bar girls put in the pot as sometimes end up with more bills than drinks!!
Oh and don't play the bar girls at connect four or you'll be buying a lot of drinks!!

Totally depends on who you are going with and what you want to do....

I would say though a week in Bangkok is more than enough, i avoid it like the plague now, only ever go for business when i really need to.

If it's mischive your after then your final week has to be Pattaya. But if it's a nice quiet beach type thing there are lot better places than the usual Phuket and Samui.

Be advised it's not as cheap as you think it is, since the pound has gone down drastically to the baht....
