I would welcome Swords and James the One doing music and movement in tight navy blue leotards before every match at LR plus it would be nice to see them make the effort to get to a match ... nice cast on the waggler two gains of sweetcorn
On a serious note (well......), Cheerleading is a sport. It has competition, organisation, structure etc. So, the states take it very seriously and it is an integral part of most US sports (tho don't think it ever caught on with Ice Hockey!). It is good entertainment for everyone. And you would be surprised at how women are usually in favour of it. My daughter loves that sort of thing.....popular in schools too. Great for fitness. So......all said, I would love a tidy bit of skirt bouncing around at Loftus Road!!!
They used to have cheerleaders when the Prem first started and whilst I love ****, tits and arse, they were ****ing useless. Get on with the footy I say!!
More Rooney's type Is the one in the middle Christopher Biggins I forgot the image please log in to view this image [/QUOTE]
Blokes can be cheerleaders too. Take your pick George W. Bush President George W. Bush was a Cheerleader at Phillips Academy, Andover, MA Dwight D. Eisenhower Thirty-fourth President of the USA, excelled in sports including cheerleading. Franklin D Roosevelt Among his many other activities, the USA's thirty-second President, was a football Cheerleader at Harvard. Jimmy Stewart Jimmy Stewart made over eighty motion pictures in his career, but before acting he was a Cheerleader. Michael (& Kirk) Douglas Like father, like son. Michael not only resembles his dad, Kirk, but followed in his footsteps as an actor and Cheerleader. Samuel L. Jackson This talented actor who starred in "Pulp Fiction", "Shaft", "A Time to Kill", and "Die Hard 3" was a cheerleader. Steve Martin This famous comedian can add Cheerleading to his many talents. Trent Lott Senate Majority Leader from Mississippi, Trent Lott was a cheerleader.
So are we going to get the Air Asia girls at every home game? TF always seems to be surrounded by them. http://www.google.co.uk/search?q=ai...juy_Cg&sqi=2&ved=0CCwQ_AUoAQ&biw=1675&bih=879
Are you saying you would prefer it if the cheerleaders were blokes? I'm getting a little bit worried about you awjm...
The Us doesn't seem to have the same crowd participation re singing etc whereas with SOCCER crowds in the UK and Ireland its part of the game and provides a great deal of the atmosphere. If we are to have cheerleaders, then I want the females for the purpose of sensory sexual gratification and the males only for their willingness to give huge amounts of money to the Club for the privelage of participation, without any other return. Northolt, it's Association Football, Soccer, get with the times....!
Not a clue of what you are going on about but soccer is just a nickname for football unless you are from a country that plays ****e sports http://www.google.co.uk/url?sa=t&rc...1QvL_nlO-0uczcxig&sig2=Oqd8KQPnYYuzriMJlIuYtQ
WRONG!! Soccer is just one code of football. Never heard of the Rugby Football Union? Every Country has ****e sports. You have Cricket!!
If the ****eness of sports is judged by the number of countries where they are played and are popular, American Football, Aussie Rules Football, Gaelic Football and Hurling must be the ****est of all.
Don't know why you're directing that at me, it was Andy that started the "sh*t sports" nonsense. I was trying to show him that silly accusation could also be laid at his door. Didn't you read his post two above mine?
