    You can't bet on them because the bookies said there is no point.

    May as well just award us the title on the opening day of the season.

    According to the prophets of doom the same could be said for Celtic, in fact that was a main plank in the argument for not making Rangers leave the SPL if I recall.

    Celtic would walk the SPL for the next 4 years.

    Hardly a logical argument against refusing Rangers direct entry to the top flight is it?
