I must confess I don't get the, not in the same shower thing. Firstly, why would I presume the chap would fancy me or want a peek, second if he did make a pass I would just say, not interested, cant see the problem.

Hope you don't mind me butting in (no pun intended!) What worries me most with the whole homosexuality thing is statistics!

When you read that one man in four has homosexual tendencies, you've got three mates and you know THEY'RE alright, it makes you worry!

    <sorry> I'll fetch my coat!

Respect is earned not taught syd and it is a two way street which in the world of football only goes one way. Kick out racism is a good one as all or most of the board members are black so in itself is a racist organisation. Puffs queers etc. etc. are not a problem does anyone on here actually know any?
As said it's all down to some nonce in an office telling everyone what they can and can't say last time I checked it was a free country and, unlike many who live in this great country of ours I don't need to be told how to act or what to say so to the pc birgade go **** yourselves.

The PC brigade on here are so cringeworthy. Now having an opinion makes you "bigoted" or a "a stereotypist". It's the PC brigade that are the most hompohbic and racist of the lot, because they are the ones who make big deals out of it. Seriously some people want putting down.

I find it amusing and a little concerning that my OP had racism, respect and homophobia but most seem to want to focus on homophobia.

The whole shower thing doesn't fly for me really. It implies that all gay men are rapists who can't control their deviant urges. The point about a mixed shower and attractive women, of course all us dirty hetro types would have a glance but there is a big difference between having and glance and leering and an even bigger difference between sharing a room with someone and sexually assaulting them. If you don't want people to see you naked don't use public showers.

now the racism thing. I've been trying to thing of an object we could chuck at Mr Terry and any others who show their true colours next season a kin to the banana throwing antics his lot like to do. I'm not sure we'd get a flaming cross past security though.

Sad world when if you have certain views on homosexuality you are labelled a "homophobe", and are put down and pushed out of society in exactly the same way as the do gooders are complaining about. Why don't they get a special name? Something like hypocritical homophobephobes or something.
