15 euros an hour? here they get about 7 not that there is a great call for it. I prefer learning chatting with friends.
At least the beer is still a euro per glass.

I freelanced it part-time while studying rather than working in a school so just made up a price that sounded realistic. The cost of living is just so much lower out there though it's creeping up.

Swords, All of them as I just love women. Remember god made them to keep us happy and on our toes? and work hard to make their life a little more easier!! Girls should not work, just look great all the time.

Funnily enough I was just watching the BBC News channel and thinking their female presenters / reporters are such a bunch of dogs compared to Sky's slick glam presenters. The Sky girls all seem to be very comfortable in front of the cameras whereas the BBC lot look like they've been selected by a 'diversity' panel without any recourse to ability...

That's just what Watford said as well. You could be onto something there. ( I know she's not a Sports Presenter but Susanna Reid is quite tasty)

Wow, we do like testing the water on here, don't we people?!

That's my initial response, not just to Lala but also to Swords and LoneRanger who've chosen to start threads on the 'tits and bums' theme - and to those (including me) who've overlooked the so called 'pc' aspect and joined in with the common or garden merry-making.

So, since the bottom line (no pun intended) of both threads and posts asks 'where DO we draw the line on what's acceptable', let's have another look at them rules of ours again.

...the site’s policy appears to be to avoid too many rules for obvious reasons...

Basic standards for us has to involve levels of respect for others and the need to avoid personal insults with particular regard to our human differences on gender, age, race, ethnicity, disability, sexual orientation; and religious and/or political beliefs.

On race, ethnicity, disability and religious beliefs these standards are fairly straight forward. However, gender, age, sexual orientation and political beliefs are more open to interpretation. If we are to deliberate on whether references to tits and bums constitutes sexism, we'd be doing so till the cows come home.

My role is not to judge outright but to moderate according to the perceived will of our members / posters. At this stage it's clear enough to me that having received only one PM and few if any posts on this issue, those members are in the main not finding this material disrespectful or offensive at current levels.

As such I can only say carry on as you were - but please, let's not push the boat out too far as what's fairly plain sailing here and now, could very easily get lost at sea.

    Back to the football then!

I can't believe you got a PM on this thread. Whoever that was needs to wind their neck in.

Like I said a few days ago, some people just love to get offended.

It doesn't require any winding up. They'd find offence in a brown paper bag that lot.
