The way I see it ,is there are no racists on our forum! Some call others that word with out known what the word means? just a excuse to have a go at some one. Now if you want REAL racists go to Iran (Persia) ?
What James says about Iran can certainly be true. Racism there against their own minorities is bad. Anti Chinese racism in Indonesia has been horrific for centuries. Wow Imaz, I had never even heard of the Indonesian stuff. Throughout history, the Chinese got a pretty raw deal wherever they went. There were anti-Chinese riots in California around the time of the gold rush, far worse than the Jakarta ones. I wasn't aware of Iranian racism but I know there's a lot of religious antipathy between Sunni and Shiite Muslims there. The war with Iraq didn't help.
Anti Chinese racism in Indonesia is very bad. An Indonesian relative (by marriage) of mine from Surabaya suffered bad racism as a kid for just being pale skinned and looking Chinese. She wasn't. Much of this is connected to business domination. Chinese in Indonesia, Malaysia and Singapore, Lebanese and Mauritanians in West Africa, Jewish people in some European countries and so on. Bad Shìt, people get killed.
So its not just Jewry that dominate financial institutions across the World? For a race of just some 6 million people outside Israel, they still hold a massively disproportionate amount of power. Their lobbying and sway in the US gives them a big say in the political system and hence foreign policy over there. And as a result of America's propping up of Israel, the entire instability of the whole of the Middle-East hinges on the whim of a tiny minority. Israel is an ahem "Country" full of gangsters that poured in from the four corners of the Earth and drove the native inhabitants into a ghetto where they're existing in semi-serfdom. If there's any grievances held against the London Olympics, it should be due to the participation of that apartheid State.
Bit harsh to blame Jewish people for Israel and Zionism. It's like blaming Muslims for KSA or Christians for Tony Blair. Israel has no future as it stands today.

But they won't because they're clinging to a bit of Biblical Scripture that puts them first among all peoples. There's a hangover from the Holocaust and the Palestinians are the innocent victims. Well considering six million of them live in Israel and the other six or so manage to get Western Governments to prop it up, I'm afraid you can't be right there my friend. No doubt there's one or two well meaning ones here and there but they're not significant. On the other hand, its important not to demonize the entire United States people as one great satan. There's a sizeable minority over there that are finally starting to wake up to the real reasons behind them getting involved in one International disaster after another. Its getting much harder for the blood-crazed Yahoo's of the American right to whip up the population into a frenzy and dupe them into another war. Thankfully that ship has sailed.
It's late at night and this thread has taken an interesting turn. Have to take issue with this sentence Imaz. The 'Great Satan' is fear, ignorance and hatred of the type peddled by Khomeni, the Pope, the Archbishop of Canterbury, the Dalai Lama, the chief Rabbi, any totalitarian/ anti- rational cults, sects , ultra-nationalists, Maoists, hard core capitalists, occassional US presidents and other political leaders who are slave thinkers, will not enter into dialogue and refuse to entertain facts and adjust their world view accordingly. Stupefied peasants the lot of them, in the words of Christopher Hitchens. Your points about the Jews is spot on though. It's people's beliefs that are the problem, and you can't ascribe these to all people of a particular ethnic group, or because they hold the passport of a particular country.
I've had a go at Imaz before with regard to his dogmatic Islamic beliefs but to be fair to him, he never rose to the bait. He's as cool as Ice that chap (and very intelligent too). Of course you are right Stanley, Ignorance IS the great satan. Hitchens though, great as he was, had an intellect so overpowering that he was incapable of experiencing other facets of life such as the intuitive powers that we all possess (some remarkably so) and the very real life-force that can be experienced by studying under a Qigong Master for example. His sheer brain-power (and no doubt a touch of ego) made it impossible for him to be able to even attempt to explain the subtleties of life and that gaping hole means he could only cover a tiny fragment of the human experience. To him everything could be explained by Science and Reason but his black and white view of the World falls way short. Is it just me or were you away from this Forum for a while?
Dogmatic beliefs! If that were so I'd hardly be posting on here using four letter words during Ramadan would I, Swords. As for ethnicity not coming into it I have to agree. I have Muslim, Christian and Jewish relatives and they're all c*nts.
