Still a good player and LB for LB a better technical skillful player up front on his own than danny, imo I was talking to trunds not long ago and he is dissapointed how things turned out at neath who still owes him wages. He has had quite a few offers from league teams and at the time i spoke to him preston was one of the teams.....He hopes one day soon when he thinks that its time to retire that he will be back at the team he loves, He looked lean and fit and is enjoying playing at this time....top man and honest with it....

Good excuse for a short love letter to magic daps.

    My all time favourite player.
Has one man ever made more Jacks smile?
The way he played was joyous.
    Yours sincerely,
    Entertained.

Arguably MVP for Swansea in the last 20 years. His performances an skills from our darkest days up to Div 1 put more bums on seats and smiles on faces than any other. He allowed grown men to fall in love with the game again. No longer was it enough just to win....we wanted it to be BEAUTIFUL.

The extra coin from LT10 attendences and shirt sales helped us become who we are now. His transfer was timing perfection and allowed us to take the next step. His loyalty to the club after leaving shows his class.

LT10 good luck you legend and jack bastard

    O.....K....

Can't you Trundle fans wonder how the hell Preston have sunk so low without the mirthsome hyperbole?

Some comments a bit over the top imo. Trundle was a great player for us, bringing a smile to our faces and had bundles of talent. But that was at a much lower level and when he tried to step up he couldn't. No shame in that. MVP? I don't think so. Sorry. Comparing him to Danny Graham who did brillaintly in his full full season in one of the toughest leagues in the world is laughable.

Good luck, LT10 but lose some weight before the season starts! <laugh>

After the long gone era of the fantastic Robbie James and Curtis came again a wonderfull player in Lee Trundle with all the skills and confidence needed at the level we were at back then. A true jack legend contributing hugely on our charmed rise to the top . What we wouldn`t give for another magic daps at this level eh !

"At the level" is something Trundle could never be, people. Sorry and all that. Good in his day though and could still do a job in L1, L2 or lower.

I am not saying by MVP he was the best player in the last 20 years since it's all relative to cost/division, but single handedly he did more to promote the club (not just from divisions but in bringing in media and new fans) from the very darkest hour to where we now find ourselves.

Feel free to start a poll/ thread on this debate as it would provide some interesting views
