    edit: sorry, he scored a hat trick in the championship and 3 goals in the premier league. Easy mistake

    puncheon never scored a hatrick in the prem, the championship he did when playing at millwall but never in the prem.

    I will rephrase, the fact that he has scored goals in the premier league, but not all in one game, shows he isnt a no-hoper ;)

    I agree with you. He has shown he can perform at both championship and premier league level. His problem has always been consistency. I think he deserves a chance and I don't understand this Puncheon hating. The reason he didn't slot straight back in to the team last season was because we were doing well, so why change a winning team?

    I must admit that as this was an Evian match thread I am disappointed that it has turned into a Puncheon bash fest, shouldn't we be talking about the positives of a good result rather than bashing individuals, just because you don't like him for whatever reason?

    People bashing Puncheon for reasons unbeknown to them is really pathetic. If NC & NA have allowed him back into the fold then there should be no problem for these 'fans'. Puncheon is clearly a talented player, far more so than De Ridder and Chaplow. He also seems to genuinely want to do well at Saints and I for one am 100% behind him.
