So your getting indignant about something I didn't say? **** me sideways. Disco and Siddall do kiss your butt Syd, I was merely commenting on that but hey, you fill your boots by saying I said whatever you like if it makes you happy?
jesus christ cest is such a self righteous little man, does it really matter? stop taking yourself so seriously, go out and enjoy your weekend, there's more to life than the rivalry between sunderland and newcastle
Okay, you can go do one too or just make stuff up that I said too but just for your info, its Syd thats getting self righteous about something I DIDNT actually say. Lol This forum is becoming way too up its own arse these days. No wonder people have left or are leaving in droves.
FFS Cest calm down, life really is to short mate. If it helps you are right, I am wrong and I will try harder in future, its a wonderful day here in Coxhoe, weather is nice, Osca asleep in his bed and sport on telly, life is good.
Cest from the articles and replies from Syd that i have read on this forum since its inauguration, I find Syd to be the nicest, sensible, most tolerant man, i have never met, but read, always enjoy his articles and sense of humour, its time to take a bit of advice and back off a bit, not everyone you meet will agree with you in life fact.
If we all agreed with everything all the time it would be a pretty dull place...I believe that I have made my stance pretty clear on the OP many times in the past so I will not repeat it again, but what I will say is that whilst arguments and disagreements are what sites such as this are all about, we really should save the personal insults for the nugget element from the darkside..
Newcastle fans must find this thread hilarious. It's started off debating whether or not NUFC connections should/do affect performance at SAFC. It's then turned in to a back and forth about which team a Man City player that we all want to sign supported as a boy/supports now. And has then become a thread where SAFC supporters basically insult and moan at each other. Incredible stuff. From a footballing perspective, on topic, i wouldn't ever turn someone away who could improve us just because of the team they supported/support. I've also made my thoughts clear - a lot of this seems to be focused on specific examples (Chops, Bruce, Clarke) but there are also positive examples (Stokoe, Waddle). Depends entirely on the individual.
There is definitely some truth on the 'butt kissing' with regards to Syd, the pious nature of certain posters, Syd and Cest. The difference being Cest is somewhat more confrontational.
I feel a song coming...
I'll throw my tuppence worth in, whether you want it or not. Firstly, I think Cest hit the nail on the head in his last paragraph of the OP. I can't imagine NUFC ever employing a Sunderland supporting manager. I just don't think we'd be foolish enough to do it, as you're more than likely going to be on a hiding to nothing, as soon as things go wrong, your roots will be brought up. Now I've made my thoughts on the whole "Bruce threw the derbies", "Chopra missed on purpose" very clear. However I would not judge someone for disagreeing with me. But my question is, I don't know who the manager was who took you down with a record low points, but if they had supported NUFC, no doubt you would be claiming that was the reason behind it? Plenty of people have failed for you in the past, not just Mags. Lastly, I'd like to throw it out there, and I may be wrong, I'm not looking for abuse, but deep down I don't think you truly mean it about "no more Mags" Cest. I have only formed this opinion by reading your comments on AJ. If you think that "a guy you know who knew AJ as a 10 year old" is better than "AJ cam out on Live TV and stated that he is a strong Newcastle supporter" then that proves you are willing to put all the mag stuff aside if the right player or manager becomes available, just as your club have done in the past. AJ is a toon fan, not up for debate, otherwise I can legitimately claim that Bruce, Clark, McMenemy and Chopra did not in fact support Newcastle, but they all supported Leyton Orient. Leave out the abuse mate, no need for it on this beautiful day.
Not bad at all marra...The only pity is that I'm stuck at work all weekend when the sun is shining... I hope everything is going ok at your end mate..
Not to bad at this end, Lollie has a few big ops to go through the next couple of months so it's a 'Hang in there and be positive' situation. Never mind this weekend the real sun arrives at it's best on Monday according to Google so lets wait and see Hope you catch a bit like if it happens & sending my best to you & the boys
