I wouldn't put money on it, this is QPR we're talking about! Berbatov would be a welcome addition though

I agree. There is a serious upgrade in the quality of our signings. Well done TF and MH.

So that's one down, who are the other two singings left do you think? And I'm guessing they will schedule another Monday 3pm press conference tomorrow. But the same as last time we all know what they're announcing ;)

Haha Norwich getting left behind, took this post from their board,

"noticed an article saying Blackburns Hoilett will be off to QPR for 4 million. This annoyed me as it would be a great signing for a reasonable price and was wondering why on earth we havent tried to get him.

we are getting left behind. Splash out at least 10 million on 1 or 2 good players we will reap the rewards. Specualte to accumalate. Come on Hughton, sort it out boi.

No confirmation of this deal yet anywhere, just a few regurgitations of the Sky story. Are we sure?

Hoilett waits on work permit as QPR hope to complete switch from Rovers

QPR are trying to secure a work permit for Junior Hoilett before completing the Canadian's signing from Blackburn.

The forward is keen to join Mark Hughes' side, who are on tour in Asia, and the clubs are discussing compensation.

As revealed by Sportsmail last week, an agreement is likely to be reached soon, but QPR officials want confirmation of Hoilett's work permit before finalising the deal.

The move is great news for Rangers' boss Hughes who thought he had lost out in the battle for Hoilett's signature.

Borussia Monchengladbach looked certain to sign him after Hoilett flew out to Germany for talks.

Presumably he had a work permit for last season? Do you need to get a new one each season then?

Each contract, You have to play x amount of international games but I thought he was not playing for Canada because he hoped to play for England in which case it could go down to an appeal.

If he wasn't playing international football how did Blackburn get a permit?
