Upgraded to BT Infinity recently, why? I should get between 75-78 download speed, but now according to BT I'm only getting a fraction of that because my PC is too old?!?! Yeah thanks for that, you didn't say that before I upgraded. I know can't watch the stream as it stops and starts so much.
They are talking rubbish mate.....even the slowest PC network card is 100mb/sec minimum.....way faster than you can download from the web.
Traore!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Bloody hell he must have spent the last 2 months in Pizza Hut and the gym
Just upgraded to virgin fibre optic today and am getting the full speed, it sounds like a classic BT fob off. Borrow a friends laptop and see if thats a bad speed or not. Cancel it and go elsewhere because they are lying unless you have a 15yo PC.
How good is Diakate! Quality. Fabio playing right back as well. Maybe we dont need a right back afterall.
It is traore with the blond hair, but I don't think he's looked too bad, a couple of misplaced passes sure but this is pre-season, it's meant to work out the kinks! Also LoneRanger/Franckster, wouldn't capability to run a stream be dictated by other components within the computer i.e. processor, RAM, graphics card etc? I believe all of those could choke a computer's performance, it wouldn't depend solely on a network card... Do you know what specs your computer is Lone and have you successfully run streams of live QPR games before?
PC is about 6-7 yrs old I think, pinched it off a mate. The Engineer made me start the PC in safe mode so that there aren't any background programs or anything running, performed a speed check again and I was up to 78mbs dl, but in normal running mode I'm down to 10mbs. They then say they can put you through to PC tech help, but you have to pay for a subscription of £7 a month, I told them to stuff that. But it was only after I put the phone down that I remembered my PS3 is brand new and I get exactly the same low speed on that. I just don't know if I can handle another 2 hours on the phone to India.
2.93mhz processor, 1 gig ram, 20 gig free hard disk space. When I was on BT broadband and my top speed was 20mbs, that's pretty much what I got. Watched every QPR that I couldn't go to on stream and it was fine. But since upgrading to infinity and supposedly 80mbs, not I'm getting below 10mbs.
Fair enough, if you've been able to watch streams before and your PS3 is slow too then something's definitely wrong with the Infinity service... how on earth can they justify charging an extra £7 per month for tech help?! Ridiculous... Good luck getting it sorted though mate
