3 days is hardly anytime at all has you say. Though you do get visitor(s) who think they can do Cape Town in 2/3 days,
impossible, just so much to see and do here in Cape Town you need 2-3 weeks.

To me Italy counts, that's one place (country) I've never been too, but would definately want to visit.

I would like to go to Peru next year if possible and try the Inca (Ruins) Trail. Now that's on my 'Bucket List'.

Probably get Lost after a few beers, usually do that's where the name comes from. We go every year, Mrs Vegas is quite good at poker so we always try and pay for the holiday by entering a few tournaments. Never managed it yet but we have managed to win enough to upgrade to business class flights on the way home once.

SHHHHUUUUSH don't talk about getting married you might put ideas in her head!!!!

There is a great little English pub that shows all the footy so I am hoping to not miss any games at the start of the season.

You should watch a programme called "Intrepid Journeys" which is of well known New Zealanders travelling the world backpack style. It's shown on the "Travel Channel" now but has been on for about 10 years here. Youtube has many but the one you would really enjoy is Series 2 Eposide 2 if you can with Ewen Gilmore (Comedian) in Peru. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Intrepid_Journeys

Couldn't find it sorry on You Tube.

Italy is fantastic, my nan is from Siena in Tuscany (Tuscany IS Italy), I've had the pleasure of seeing most of it, including random places like Bari, Genoa etc, and the country is unreal.

Do it RAW, you'll love it

Say Hi to Padre nostro for 606

Know it but spent more time in San Gimignano.
Went to Cameroon vs Romania there in 1990!
Like MM says, do it. I've been there a lot. I should after all these years learn more of the lingo <laugh>

No and Manc IS manc atm the minute like. Summer needs to be reclassified monsoon season I reckon. How sad am I been doing lucky 15's all week in the vain hope I can ever see past the clouds again, wees bloody idea was it to do the bathroom??????? Still it does look nice like and we did it all ourselves so very proud.

BTW turkey is nice for those thinking of it hiza, oludeniez etc. I preferred Portugal though taviera/albuferia lovely views from the cliffs and found a bar with flashsportsstreams playing a different game on all 5 flat screens classy fella!

It is brilliant, pretty much has everything - sun, beaches, history, brilliant people and the food... :D

Try to steer clear of Naples if you ever do go, it's like a third world country compared to places further north! Places like Pisa, Florence, Assisi (and Rome, Venice, Milan) are all worth a visit!
