its funny how peoples minds get distorted. basically, the teams everyone seems to be fretting about making more signings have made no more than us - two. there might be one or two exceptions like qpr but generally its similar across the league. people need to be more patient. hughton clearly stated that he wanted to assess his first team squad before making changes so sit back, relax and let the magic weave itself. panicking or getting frustrated won't speed up the process. we are lucky that we don't need to make wholesale changes as the squad is already pretty decent - two or three additions and a bit of tinkering will do the trick, so keep calm and carry on <ok>

Not worried by lack of activity or rumours etc - much happier going about it on the quiet, which I'm sure we are...am slightly jealous of sotons signing of clyne and rodriguez - good players who if they have a decent season could well command monster fees this time next year...not fussed about hoilett - decent enough and should do a good job for them but definitely think there is better out there for less money...

    Definitely not panicking.

I'm just a bit miffed we are missing out on players who would really strengthen positions we need additions in. All will be forgotten if Naughton returns though ;-)

Interesting. I'm sure most 'wouldn't have minded' Park too. Or Cisse.

    Or Bruno Perone.

certainly not interested in park - i think he'll do ok for you because that's what he is - an ok player who you know will put in a shift. he's not a great player though. cisse? is that a joke?! i assume you think that cos he scored a few goals you feel we should rate the guy? i really do not rate him at all and never have done. i don't mind diakite - 50/50 on that one - but other than that, i'm positive that i wouldn't want any of them.

has anyone noticed that the qpr fans have created a thread all about boycotting our board?

hilarious! except silent bob is on here, so it hasn't really worked, but he is posting my posts on there.

    totally bizarre.

I think Park would be a good signing for most clubs outside the top five. Cisse is better imo than any of your strikers. Please don't say Holt. Please. Forgot about Diakite too, going to develop into an amazing player.

I admire your arrogance though <cheers>

Edit: I didn't agree to any boycott, I love you guys.

Id have Hoilett, Fabio on loan and Diakite if I'm honest. Not Park or Cisse though.

Out of your players from last season I'd have Faurlin too. <ok>

<laugh> Where's the arrogance? Also, Cisse better than any of our strikers? You really need to get your head checked!

Everybody seems to be against Michael Owen and I think CW or CWick as they call him in Sunderland could do a real job for us. We could get him for muffins I've heard him and O'Neil are arguing all the time.

Owen could do a job as well, let's face it you need someone to keep the physios couch warm for when one of the squad players needs it.

Now that Sven didn't get the Forest job do you think CH needs to look over his shoulder?
