Sorry, bit of a lazy post, but in the absence of any juicy gossip..... My prediction for the 2012-2013 season. 1 Man United 2 Chelsea 3 Man City 4 Arsenal 5 Spurs 6 Newcastle 7 Everton 8 Liverpool 9 Sunderland 10 Villa 11 Fulham 12 Norwich 13 Southampton 14 Stoke 15 West Brom 16 West Ham 17 Wigan 18 QPR 19 Reading 20 Swansea
I think we will be 16th. Of the teams you have below us I'd expect WBA, Stoke, QPR and Swansea to finish above us. As long as we stay up I'm happy!
I think Swansea might struggle - teams now familiar with their style, new manager. West Brom - don't think Steve Clarke will cut it. Stoke? Not sure, they seem to struggle to move forward, don't think they've finished in the Top 10 at all yet. QPR? Really? Hmmm!
always so difficult to predict these things! here's my stab in the dark... 1. Man City 2. Man Utd 3. Chelsea 4. Arsenal 5. Spurs 6. Liverpool 7. Everton 8. Newcastle 9. Southampton 10. Aston Villa 11. Sunderland 12. Fulham 13. Swansea 14. QPR 15. Norwich 16. Stoke 17. Reading 18. West Ham 19. Wigan 20. West Brom i might change that before the season starts but this is based on what we currently know. so i'm expecting citeh to win the league again, probably by a bigger margin than last time around (ie, 1minute to go)! despite van persie probably leaving i think arsenal will clamber their way to 4th, mainly cos of others frailties rather than them being great shakes. i've had an inkling for a while that saints will do tremendously well - they possess so much goal threat - their new signings only increase that thought. at the bottom i've gone for all the 'double-ewes' to drop out. i believe west ham are more likely to go down than reading because i reckon big sam will get the boot midway through the season for not playing the 'west ham way'. with him, i reckon they'd be fine but without him, well, its a total mishmash of players - they'd take some sorting out. i think stoke will struggle for the first time and wigan have now surely used up 8 of their 9 lives. west brom have either made an inspired choice as manager or a complete howler - i'm going to go for the latter. as for us, i think we'll be safe with a game to go, maybe even two. i think we'll continue pretty much where we left off last season but it does seem a slightly more difficult league this time around. i think that having a new manager will benefit both ourselves and swansea rather than hinder us. i fully expect though that the gap between around 9th and 18th to be minimal - maybe only around 3 wins difference
I really do think WBA are going to struggle this season, I think Wigan's luck will run out this season. Swansea could find it more difficult and i think to be completely honest i think we will have a much tougher season this time round but should find safety just about. 1. Man City 2. Chelsea 3. Man Utd 4. Spurs 5. Arsenal 6. Liverpool 7. Newcastle 8. Everton 9. Aston Villa 10. QPR 11. Sunderland 12. Fulham 13. Southampton 14. Reading 15. Stoke 16. Norwich 17. West Ham 18. Swansea 19.
